Mind-Body Counselling & Restorative Yoga Therapy
Wellness Workshop HQ is happy to offer you a unique blend of mind-body healing therapies: Counselling and Restorative Yoga therapy. These two therapeutic disciplines not only complement each other but they are also compatible with any other treatment modality including the mainstream health care systems.
People come to Counselling for improving relationships, resolving feelings of grief, working through mental health issues, regaining overall wellness and healing from chronic aches & pains. Talking helps! Thoughts, feelings, and beliefs can alter your physiology, psychology, family and social life. Counselling helps change your thinking, and thus change of life.
Restorative Yoga is a healing and recuperative practice. It involves gentle Yoga routines and postures using props and pillows, calming breathing practices, relaxation poses that are held for longer duration and meditation bringing inner stillness. It helps align mind and body to help you heal from the effects of chronic stress, pains, and depression
Are you suffering from chronic aches & pain due to illness, injuries or lifestyle habits? Do you feel frustrated and exhausted due to relationship &/or parenting issues? Are you coping with difficulty with depression, grief & loss? Do you feel hard to control your emotions like anger, challenging to control your anger, stress & anxieties?
Counselling will help you with tuning your thought processes to develop a positive, optimistic healing mindset; while restorative Yoga will help you relax, rejuvenate and realign your mind-body energy system. Together, these approaches will help you regain your health and vitality, so that you live a more meaningful, happier and joyful life.

Her session was accessible to everyone, and she was mindful to suggest modifications for those who needed it….I received plenty of positive feedback from those in attendance right after the session. I found Purnima to be extremely easy to work with.”
