Purnima pictureGreetings! Nomoshkar! Aamaar naam Purnima. Hello! My name is Purnima.

As an independent professional wellness workshop facilitator, I extend my warm and personal greetings to you and your loved ones. I am delighted to welcome you to the domain of wellness, renewal, and healing.

I am a perpetual student of human health and quantum healing and also a Registered Social Worker/Counsellor, with more than 25 years of experience from India, UK, and Canada. Currently, I am registered with BC College of Social Workers, in British Columbia, Canada. I have completed the 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training and have a private practice offering counselling and restorative yoga therapy and other self-healing workshop sessions. I have experience of writing analytic Home Study reports of prospective foster and adoptive parents and other statutory reports, for adoption agencies and through them for the Ministry of Children and Family Development, BC. I develop and deliver bespoke Health and Wellness Workshops for Corporate and non-profit sectors.  I am an accredited Interpreter in Bengali, Hindi and Marathi languages.

After the Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I completed my Masters in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work; both from one of India’s premier education centre, University of Pune (previously University of Poona) in Maharashtra. From being a professional Social Worker and event organizer, I enjoy being a Laughter Yoga facilitator and trainer. Developing and delivering experiential, fun workshops has always been my forte and passion. Acrylic painting is my new love, and creating beautiful artwork from recycled fabrics and material and dancing for joy have always been my favourite de-stressors. I am spiritually inclined and experienced meditation as being restorative and empowering. People say I have a healing presence. I am passionate about Holistic and Quantum Healing and a serious promoter of using our mind to heal our bodies. My other interests are gardening, traveling and meeting people from different cultures, animals and protecting the environment. My life goal is to spread happiness and healing by empowering people to discover the self-repair tools within!

It will be my privilege, to bring joy, health, and happiness into your life.

Thank you,

Aum Shantee

May Peace Prevail!
