7-Steps Mind-Body Wellness Programme: Your Journey of Self-Healing

 

  1. Believe and trust that you are capable of healing
  2. Explore the root causes of your illness
  3. Listen to your body and instinct
  4. Use positive healing tools including self-massage, visualizations and affirmations
  5. Find the right Health Care providers who have a holistic and preventative approach of healing
  6. Write a Complementary Treatment Plan for yourself
  7. Detach yourself from the Outcomes

Ms. Purnima will review and evaluate your health history, concerns and your current wellness goals. Based on the evaluation, she will tailor-make the healing sessions for you, based on the above 7-Steps Mind-Body Wellness Programme. She will explain the connection between the mind and body backed by scientific research findings and help you to understand the intricate processes of how our mind naturally triggers the body’s own repairing and healing responses. You will learn about the Autonomic Nervous System, the amazing Operating System of your own body and the two branches- The Sympathetic and Parasympathetic systems. You will learn about their roles in creating stress response and healing/repairing response in our body by triggering the Stress Hormones and Healing Hormones at the appropriate times. Once you understand the process, you will be guided to choose the best and appropriate tools to stimulate your Parasympathetic System to enable the secretion of the Positive Hormones resulting in the healing your mind and body.

This is a self-care approach, to empower you with knowledge, information and tools to put greater control of your health in your own hands. You will learn to adopt a proactive role in becoming and staying resilient and healthy.

The One-on-One Consultation/Counselling session is of one-hour duration with one session per week initially, and the number of sessions required will depend upon your own personal needs and desire. 

Support Group, is of one and half hour duration, attendance is by choice. You may attend as many sessions as required if the topic of the day (a monthly timetable will be available soon) interests you. It is a safe, confidential platform to ask questions and get general information about the subject, participate in inspiring discussions around new research findings on mind-body healing, practicing of one of the tools in a group setting on each group session. Small group of up to 5 participants.

House-calls are specially designed for seniors and people with mobility issues only. Typically the session will be one hour or longer as stipulated at the time of taking the appointment.Travel time will be added separately.
